Congratulations on your offer of admission to Emory University. We understand that circumstances sometimes prevent students from submitting their enrollment deposit by the stated deadline. If you need additional time, you may request a short extension by using this form. Please note that deposit deadlines are firm, and extensions are typically granted for no more than seven (7) calendar days beyond the original deadline. Extended requests may be considered in exceptional situations and may require additional documentation.

For students admitted to Emory College and Oxford College, deposit extension requests may be submitted for one campus—and should align with the student’s enrollment intention.

Families should assume that no additional merit awards will be offered beyond those already communicated at the time of admission. As such, consideration for Emory’s highly limited merit aid is not a reason to requesting a special circumstances deposit extension.

Submitting this form does not guarantee an extension. You will receive notification once your request has been reviewed by the Office of Admission.
