Every wondered how social responsibility and bioethics collide? And how research goes hand-in-hand with sustainable communities?

In a world with public health at the forefront of our minds, let's discuss these fascinating questions with Dr. Helen Baker, from Emory's School of Nursing.

Helen Baker, PhD, MSc, FNP-BC has a background in anthropologyFrench, and public health prior to starting her career in nursing. Dr. Baker spent two years working in northern Togo as a Peace Corps Health volunteer and returned to Togo later for her doctoral research on integrated family planning programs.

Dr. Baker currently serves as the Global and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility; she also volunteers at the Clarkston Community Health Center, a refugee community, as a family nurse practitioner.
