Content in these modules provide a detailed overview of Oxford College's General Education Program, academic resources and policies, and information to help students prepare for class registration. Additional content has also been provided for specific placement exams (First-Year Writing, Mathematics, and Arabic), pre-professional academic advising materials, and other helpful campus resources.
Be sure to follow the Spring Start Checklist on the Welcome Website for updates and important deadlines. The priority deadline for all placement exams is August 1. All students must complete these modules to be deemed eligible to attend a large group course planning session hosted by the Advising Support Center. Large group course planning sessions will review important parts of the registration process. The schedule for these will be posted in the Canvas course!
The first round of these large group sessions will begin the week of July 9th. As an added incentive, students who complete reviewing content in the Emory Essentials Oxford Edition Canvas course are eligible to sign up for optional individual advising meetings hosted by the Advising Support Center. Individual meetings are first come, first served. Sign up here.
If you have any questions about the Emory Essentials Oxford Edition Canvas course, you can email oxadvising@emory.edu.
