What Else You Need To Know |

- Spring Start Orientation: All Spring admits are required to register for Spring Start Orientation by Sunday, December 1. Please click here to register. Spring Start Orientation for all our first-year students will begin after move in on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Orientation is designed to welcome students to the Oxford community and make their transition to campus as smooth as possible. They'll get the chance to experience traditions like the Oxford Olympics, and have opportunities to meet faculty, staff, and students, with the guidance of their sophomore Spring Start Orientation Leader. Get ready to meet new friends, try new things, and have some fun! Students are able to invite family and supporters to campus to help them move in (9 am-12 pm). We have a special program for guests on January 10 which will conclude just before dinnertime (5 pm). At that point, we ask family members and supporters to depart campus by 5:30 pm and allow their students to fully engage in the rest of the program.

- Parking and Transportation: Parking on campus is extremely limited. Therefore, students should:
1. Apply for a parking permit by December 1 if you plan to have a vehicle on campus. Follow the prompts on this site to complete the process.
2. Only bring a car to campus if you have received an email from Oxford Parking and Transportation Department informing you a parking permit has been approved and reserved in your name.
Vehicles parked on campus without a permit will be ticketed. A disciplinary hearing will be scheduled for students who have received multiple warnings and/or violations. The Oxford College Parking and Transportation department offers shuttles to Covington and Conyers, GA for your shopping experience. Reserve your trips here.

- Housing: The online housing application is now open, and the deadline for to submit their application is December 1. Housing assignments will be available in their MyHousing portal by 12:00 pm on Monday, December 23. Click here for more information about living on campus.

- Department of Accessibility Services: This department assists students in obtaining access to programs and services that support their academic goals. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluating documents and approving appropriate accommodations, connecting students to college and community resources, listening to student concerns, and teaching self-advocacy.
Each student is unique and deserves individual attention that is also confidential. Information and forms are available on our website. Incoming students should check the website for our student registration form. The student registration form can be found by navigating to the "New to DAS" section of our website under the Students heading.
To qualify for accommodations, a student must submit appropriate professional documentation that illustrates they have an impairment that limits a major life activity. It is recommended that all documents needed for accommodations be submitted by December 1 for the spring semester.
