We hope you are soaking up your last summer before becoming an Emory Eagle. While you are enjoying summer break, the faculty and staff at Oxford are busy preparing everything just for you.

|
Here are the most important checklist to-do items for the next two weeks. For more information on these items, make sure you read this newsletter in its entirety and review the Welcome Website.
|
-
Schedule intake academic advising appointment with Advising Support Center's London Liaison by June 30
-
Submit preferences for your required Oxford courses (Discovery Seminar Course and GER) via Canvas by June 30
-
Submit required IES Abroad participant forms by July 1
-
Submit the required Oxford travel formby July 1
- RSVP to London Launch Pre-Orientation by July 1
-
Submit required student health and immunization forms by July 1
- As part of the London group, we encourage you to visit your healthcare provider to complete the Emory Immunization Form and receive all required vaccines prior to due date as it may take up to 2 weeks for processing and we do not want to delay your registration. If you plan to visit other countries while abroad, we also recommend you discuss with your primary care provider any additional, recommended vaccines as you will not be able to receive them on campus prior to your departure.
-
Submit AP/IB test scores and the Request for Approval of Test Credits to the Oxford Registrar's Office by July 1
- We understand some test scores will not be released to students until after July 1, so we ask that students request for the testing organization to send scores to Oxford College as soon as their scores have been released. AP/IB credits will continue to be accepted after July 1. However, we cannot guarantee that requests submitted after July 1 will be processed prior to fall course registration in August. Be sure to send the scores directly to Oxford College (not Emory College/Emory University) for quicker processing.

- Canvas: By now, all London Launch students should have received an invitation to join the Oxford Launch: London Fall 2025 Canvas course. You also should have received a welcome email from Global Oxford (globaloxford@emory.edu).
Once you accept the course invitation (sent to your Emory email address), you can log in with your NetID and Password. If you have not logged in to Canvas, be sure to check your Emory email for the course invitation.
Content in this course provide you with the information you need to know to navigate two key transitions: your study abroad semester in London and your journey as an Oxford College student. You'll find everything from pre-departure guidance (like flight booking tips!) to foundational Oxford College resources.
Be sure to log in regularly as new information will be added throughout the summer. If you have any questions about the Oxford First Year Experience Canvas course, you can email Natalie Raymond at natalie.raymond@emory.edu.
